There are so many wonderful and exhibits here in London, you could spend ALL day EVERY day at the museums and you wouldn't see them all. And yes, the museums here really are free, which I know it's hard to believe. But within these amazing free museums, there are often special exhibitions for which they charge entry admission.  (I've listed some of London's hot ticket art exhibits at the end of this article) Princess Margaret in Dior for her 21st birthday And then there is the Christian Dior exhibit. The "Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams" exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum completely sold out their eight month February-September 2019 run within 2 weeks of opening, and it is set to be the V & A's all time most popular exhibition.  Obviously, I wanted to go. Maltby Market on a Saturday or Sunday Just a short walk from the London Bridge Tube station, this tiny street is a lumber yard during the week, culinary mecca on the weekends. I live close by, and every time I walk through this market, I'm completely amazed at the transformation from lonely stacks of reclaimed lumber into a bustling, thriving food heaven! Maltby during the week... and on the weekend! Lassco, short for the London Architectural Salvage and Supply Company is located at the entrance to the street, and is the brains behind the development of this market. (Lassco is definitely worth stopping into for some very cool and ever-changing finds! think Restoration Hardware back in the day).  Entering the narrow street under the flags, you will see that both sides of the walkway are chock full of ethnic and delicious food and beverage choices.
