Vinegar Yard---Can Bermondsey Street get any trendier?
Welcome to Vinegar Yard, a new hangout in Bermondsey. After coming off its year as the Sunday Times' "Best Place to Live in London", Bermondsey just upped the ante even more with this fenced market tucked away just behind The Shard and the London Bridge Train Station. Just what the residents of Bermondsey Street would have ordered! Vinegar Yard is a fun outdoor eating, drinking and shopping destination created by CIT (of Flat Iron Square fame). It just opened its doors to the public on April 3, 2019, but based upon initial interest, it is going to be one happening spot. Since I live right nearby, I've been watching the ants go up (haha!) and the place spring from a pile of rubble to this, over the last 9 months.
